Comparison of Strategies for Technological Advancement in Developing Economies. Why Some Countries Succeed and Others Fail?
As the world economy becomes increasingly driven by technology, products and services with a high value will be key drivers of economic wellbeing. It is no surprise then, that leading nations with developed economies have demonstrated a strong track record of continuous innovation for products and services. This successful record can be traced to companies engaging in insightful research and development, well thought out product design, efficient production methods, and effective marketing strategies.
However, on occasion a handful of developing economies have been able to produce achievements that allow them to effectively compete with well established global players in a multitude of different industries and sectors.
This panel will examine the factors that make such achievements possible for these developing economies and analyze the common elements implemented by them to achieve such breakthroughs.
